VARIOUS PROJECTS

JKP has a wealth of experience in all kinds of education projects from the very first PFI secondary schools, the huge PFI Bundle of 42 schools for Northampton Council (£200M) through to the first BREEAM excellent BSF Pathfinder 1 secondary schools and the latest ESA and EFSA projects. We also have extensive experience in working with Local Education Partnerships delivering new primary schools and specialist classroom extensions

The Partnership has a current permanent technical staff of 15, all of whom have a wide experience in managing the essential requirements necessary to incorporate the engineering services within educational buildings. We are able therefore to provide sound technical foundations for the correct engineering design solutions to satisfy both the sustainability and cost constraints on all of our projects

Our Sustainability Department is fully utilized supporting the large design projects currently being undertaken to ensure that the very best environmental options are available to our team

Technical programmes have been introduced including computerised Passive Thermal Dynamic Modelling (TAS) to assist summertime comfort predictions of internal spaces and the design of passive solutions to minimize the necessity of mechanical ventilation or cooling. Natural Daylighting predictions using Ecotec software are also computer modelled
